Ngā kete rua // Inspired by the Maori proverb ‘Nāu te rourou, nāku te rourou, ka ora ai te iwi’ which means: With your food basket and my food basket, the people will thrive.
I’ve painted this original piece as a diptych, two separate paintings that come together to create one piece - referencing the two baskets coming together.
Each canvas is 60×90cm and they can be hung slightly apart from each other (I suggest between 5-10cm) or you can move them separately around your home.
Acrylic on canvas. Signed front and back.
The price is for BOTH paintings and come framed. Unframed they will be at a significantly lower price at $3,100 please reach out to discuss this.
I offer a payment plan of 50% of the total balance paid initially and then the remaining balance paid within two weeks. Your paintings won't be sent or framed until that is completed. I will send through an invoice where you can pay via bank transfer if you're in New Zealand or by card.
If choosing framed and you don’t live close to Waihi Beach for pick up or delivery, they will need to be sent unframed as shipping two framed large artworks is expensive. (Unless you want to pay the additional fees of course). You can have them framed professionally, locally to you and I can guide you with this process.
In Australia? These two paintings will be removed from their internal frames and rolled in a secure mailing tube. This is the safest way to ship large original artwork. You can have these stretched and framed locally to you. I have used a couple of framers throughout Australia so I can guide you here as well.
